Cedar Revival Limited was started 2 years ago when Doug and his partner Inge came to the Coromandel for a holiday.  It became obvious as they explored the area further that there were a lot of cedar houses in the area that were in need of restoration and maintenance.  With many Coromandel towns situated close to the coast, the weather conditions can cause timber cladding to deteriorate more rapidly.  With further research, it became apparent there was no local specialist company carrying out cedar restoration work in the Coromandel area.  The opportunity for a great work and lifestyle balance was an attractive proposition.  "We are committed to the Coromandel - as they say, it's good for the soul.  Many of our local customers have been so welcoming and friendly".
